Secure the Borders Rally, Austin, Texas Oct. 1, 2005 10:30am

Secure our US Borders, Pro-America, Pro-Minuteman, Pro-Law Enforcement and Pro-Border Patrol Rally

Dear Central Texan Freepers,

As you know the Federal government is ignoring their duty in the Constitution to protect the borders of the United States. The States don't seem to do much better.

A few months ago some people organized a group of concerned citizens named the Minutemen and they conducted a Border Watch in Arizona. This shined the light upon a very serious problem of how many illegals slip across the border every night. We heard how the border citizens were able to get their 1st nights' sleep in years.

The Minutemen were also planning to have a border watch in Texas during the month of October. I planned to join them. My President has called me a “vigilante” for wanting to join the Minutemen in Texas. No, I'm just a Texas woman, & American citizen.

It is time to shine the light upon the Texas porous border. And so there is a rally planned for Saturday October 1st @ 10:30am on the south steps of the Texas Capitol in Austin, TX

The groups who are banding together for this rally are YCT (Young Conservatives of TX), The Constitution Party, FreeRepublic.com and the Save Our Taxpayers. Here is their link regarding this rally http://saveourtaxpayers.org/

The media ignores any rally that will benefit America unless the crowd is so big they can't get away with it. Please make plans to join us at the Texas Capitol, this Saturday and make this a bigger rally than has seen before.

Politicians try to ignore us except for when it comes time for our votes. Let us gather and show them that we believe the savings of medical and education for non-American illegal aliens will outweigh the cheap labor we are supposed to get from them.

All we ask is that our southern border is protected as strictly as Mexico's southern border. Mexico WILL NOT let anyone in their Southern border and they will NOT pay for education or medical or any benefit unless they are a citizen of Mexico. We could take a lesson from that.

Maybe you don't want to go to the border as a neighborhood watch or maybe you can't take the time. But you sure can take a Saturday morning to make a statement to our leaders. And bring a friend. Being a citizen who wants our laws enforced is no longer a SPECTATOR SPORT. The bigger a showing we have then the more our representatives will pay attention. I'm sure the ACLU, Mecha and the open-borders people will not rest lobbying them for their side.

Please join us. See you there! October 1, 2005 10:30am South Side of the Texas Capitol, Austin, Texas

If you don't invite the Protest Warriors they'd be a might offended. If your're going up against Saturday morning cartoon villains like MecHa and the ACLU you need SuperFriends like the Protest Warriors there to humiliate them.

OF COURSE the PW are invited!!!! I just don't know how to contact them, but you are right! How can we go up against cartoon villains and terrorists w/o PW? Freepers are sorry for how they were treated at Crawford. Sometimes their signs require time to read and a higher IQ to understand their humor and the point.

We promise to make it clear what the signs mean and that they are on OUR side.

Lots of times I'm the "Statue of Liberty" sometimes the "Burka girl" (I'm "batty" during bat education programs) but I think we need something new.

Maybe a terrorist sneaking around with a suitcase bomb? I love the street theatre the left uses, because it can be very effective.

Any ideas?

You can reach them right here.

Ideas in the street theater vein? How about a hippie-looking Dummy Claus handing out printed up promises for everything under the sun, signed by Big Daddy Government? You could print on his bag, in large letters, "Goodies Courtesy of Taxpayers". A Robin(g) Hood(lum) character would serve just as well.

Oops! I owe you a phone call. Got busy and forgot.

Anyway, not sure if Blastus will make it or not. Blastus Jr. has first soccer game of the season on Sat. but we don't know the start time yet. Sometime between 8 and noon. And I agree with you Bat Lady that a new outfit other than burka girl needs to be developed. Just not so sure about the suitcase bomber idea. I do want Blastus to return home!!! :D

TXBubba,

Thanks for offering to help my friend in the Great Texodus from Houston. Never did hear back from her, so I assume she found other accomodations.
