The death penalty should be paid back in kind. If you shot someone - you should be shot. Stabbed/shot someoneone - first stabbed, then shot. I don't have the fortitude to do it, but the next guy on death row probably does. Let 'em pay it forward...

Grant a commutation to LWOP to anyone on death row who will do it to him.
