Happy Birthday Rush Limbaugh

HAPPY
BIRTHDAY
RUSH

Born, January 12, 1951
in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Make no mistake. Rush Limbaugh is “The Passion.” He is the passion of conservatism, the very pulse, bounding through the veins of the nation. He produces life with every heartbeat of his show as he scoffs at liberals and gives us his interpretation of conservative truth. His brand of ideology shakes the very foundations of liberalism. He follows in the footsteps of giants, such as George Washington, Thomas Paine, and Ronald Reagan, promoting the ideals of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. He broadcasts affectionately trying to steer growing government towards the ideals of the Constitution.

He believes that Americans with limited government are better Americans. He believes that Americans shouldn’t murder babies in the womb. He believes that tax cuts are good for the economy. And finally, he believes safe Americans living free are the best Americans of all.

Boldly he pronounces the lies of liberalism and asserting daily doses of truth. With resounding conviction, he echoes the sentiments of the Founding Fathers, evoking the wrath of those who oppose him. “The Passion.” His passion forces him to carry the torch of liberty and justice, inflicting backlash, lies, and corruption at his doorstep. The compassionate liberals, those that believe in fair play and equal justice, will do almost anything to berate him.

Mildly he sits and passes on his message, his passion, his views, his legacy. A legacy of truth, justice, and the conservative American way. He hands his gift down day after day, show after show. He will live as one of the greatest men in conservative history correct 98.4% of the time. There are few men in history that has received the same award as President Ronald Reagan. There are fewer men that could go on day after day under the scrutiny he faces. And there are only a handful of men that could keep themselves reserved while suffering the onslaught of the visceral hatred of “compassionate liberals.”

The first time I heard Rush I was searching through the AM dial for some news when I heard the most bizarre sound. Puzzled I stopped the dial to find out what the heck that was. Thats when I learned what a caller abortion was, I laughed so hard I nearly wrecked my truck. I never needed to find another station after hearing about 5 minutes of Rush. Happy Birthday and many more.

Viet Nam draft lottery number for 1/12/51 was 152. The highest number drafted from that bunch was 125. Rush was safe and never called. Seems his detractors never learned this.

"I can just picture Rush mailing off his AARP card today."

Au Contraire! A little French lingo for those in Rio Linda.

I would much rather see the folks at AARP getting an application for membership in an envelope with "Rush Limbaugh" as the first line of the return address. My guess is that it would get the same treatment as fan mail to a Senator from "O. B. Laden".

Ronald Reagan was a visionary leader. His first political speech in 1964 ended with the announcement of his goal to restore the Constitution of the United States even if he had to do it alone and the consequences if he should fail:

"We have come to a time for choosing; we will preserve for our children this the last best hope for man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the last step into a thousand years of darkness.....history will record with the greatest astonishment that those who had the most to lose did the least to prevent its happening."

His first term as President was devoted to cutting government down to size. Near the end of his first term, there was a breakthrough in the Cold War. President Reagan made the conscious decision to leave the restoration of the Constitution to his successors and spend his second term focused on ending the Cold War. The commitment and dedication of one man brought the Evil Empire to its knees ending the greatest threat to civilization in man's "long climb from the swamp to the stars," without firing a shot. Ronald Reagan's decision to seek the Presidency and his visionary decisions in office were based on a series of epiphanies.

President Reagan continued to keep his watchful eye on the progress of Constitutional restoration after he left office. When his successor dropped the ball, President Reagan identified a new conservative leader who was soon to become the "Majority Maker".

Happy Birthday Rush! Please take this opportunity to give every American the gift of a lifetime. You, and maybe you alone, can give them back their freedom by restoring the Constitution.

Hey yourself, EveningStar! :) Long time trekking, no?

I was already online elsewhere; but you and I both joined CIS in the same year (due SAME reason); and Townhall in the same year (due different reasons).

Issues forum. Some pals and I played in one of the "cyber rooms" one night. Interesting that next day on air, Rush sounded as wiped out and giggled as we there in that room. ;> We were all up until 2 or 3am; joes, janes, screen writers, script writers, celebs and non-celebs.. laughing so hard.. ('Course, payback on the boards by "lurkers" in the room was another matter.)

I still giggle.. we had the ability to change our "handles". Everyone was singing Rush's praises... and I entered the room as "Rush". You could have heard a pin drop. "THE MAN-- twweep..tweeep..tweeep! HE"S HERE". And Lib reactions on the boards: that intense "belloc" type vibe... Anyway, Someone changed their handle to Hillary, another to Carville, etc., we played out the news of the day as seen through conservative eyes.. Were you there? Did you mostly stay in Issues?

Yes.. :) He is the man. And he helped us find each other. And refind our Country.
