"But seconds later, Mr. Warner said that "we are all glad to see the end of" terrorist Abu Musab Zarqawi. That line was followed by silence."

Sometimes silence screams the loudest..

The more the Rat dimwits cater to the likes of Daily Cuss the bigger the Republican sweep will be this fall -- even if much of the conservative base is turned off from being taken for granted and laughingly asked by the Republican mainline, "Where else can you go? Ha! Ha!" There are those pesky Reagan Democrats out there who are still Americans first.

Attn Mr. Rove: Americans of Hispanic origin do not put Mexico first over America. Stop with the kowtowing to the ILLEGAL aliens to get the "Hispanic" vote.

And he chided Mr. Bush for not doing more to advance energy independence through scientific funding. "That would require," Mr. Warner said to lusty applause, "an administration that believes in science."

You are a liar Mr. Warner.....do a little research before flapping your gums.

"This president has never tried to bring this country together," he said. "He has missed so many opportunities."
In foreign policy, Mr. Warner advised Mr. Bush to "unite our friends and divide our enemies, not the reverse."
".....he had no real effort to try to form an international coalition," Mr. Warner said.

What "friends" did President Bush leave out Mr. Warner?
The coalition consisted of 49 nations. What is your problem, Mr. Warner? Did you not approve of the 49? Who would you prefer to have joined the coalition, Mr. Warner?
The French, who are up to their white flag raising arm pits in the oil-for-palaces scandal? The Germans who were selling illegal arms to Iraq, IIRC. The Russians who scammed the oil-for-palaces fiasco with 2 1/2+ billion barrels of oil? China??? You surely did not expect China to be involved did you? How about our "dear friend Mexico? They need their troops on their northern border to facilitate the invasion of the USA. Or perhaps our other "good neighbor" to the north. I understand they do help us, but are not on the list of "publicly committed countries." Did you expect Iran and Syria to join the coalition.

Every major race, religion, ethnicity in the world is represented.
The Coalition includes nations from every continent on the globe.

"Manipulated intelligence, selective leaks, no plan on what to do after we took out Saddam Hussein; he didn't listen to our military leaders,.....Mr. Warner said.

The line that earned him the most enthusiastic applause with hoots and hollers was his call for Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld to be fired.

Manipulated intelligence? -- You are an idiot!
Selective leaks? -- The President can declassify whatever he dam_ well chooses.
No plan? Didn't listen to his military leaders? Gen. Franks may have something to say about that!

Fire SoD Rumsfeld? Excuse me, that is NOT your call to make you little twit!

I don't know if there has ever been a politician whose *perceived* ability to govern has been so grossly accepted as fact. Well maybe John Edwards. And we all know where he ended up: In the Dipsey Dumpster of Political Has-Beens. Wait, there IS another one: bill clinton. And we all know where we almost ended up: In the Dipsey Dumpster of Dead Conservative Values, along with the U.S. Constitution.

FGS, american voter. THINK. It's very important to look a little deeper than People Magazine for your insights.

Since JFK the Democrats have not been able to win the votes of a majority of the people who get up everyday, strap life on, and in the imortal words of Larry the Cable Guy, "Git er done."

LBJ was driven from office by the anti-war crowd, and his party soon embraced them. Aborton on demand became the mantra of the party, and because the republican party rejected those who advocated their right to an abortion, they could be had by the dems. All the dems had to do to get their votes was to embrace their casual disregard for killing children. The gay community stepped out of the closet and became another target of opportunity for the dems. All they had to do was agree with everything the gay community stood for, AIDS and all.

There are many other examples, but now they are coming very close to embracing Muslim extremists. The dem candidate for Duke Cunningham's congressional seat helpfully reminded non citizens that no papers were required to vote for her. (Presumably, a few nights of campaigning in the graveyards took care of that constituency.) Atheists? Come on in. Ten Commandments? Who needs those? Flag of the Confederacy? That is part of our history that some in the red states embrace. We don't need those ignorant, bible thumping peckerwoods who never vote for us. Obviously this could go on, an it should, in every person's heart and soul who believes the land of our fathers was a better land than the one democrats are trying to impose on us. A word of caution. Those of you who have grown tired of the republican party need to understand that even now the democrats are secretly lusting, maybe even praying, for your vote.

Las Vegas! An enduring mental image is the conveyor belt carrying the willing inside to have their wallets emptied. What a metaphor for the Democrat Party! What a place for their conventions.
