Since Darwin implicitly rejected G*d, I think that the answer is a big DOH.

Evolution Deceit

"The Real Ideological Root of Terrorism: Darwinism and Materialism; Islam is not the source of terrorism but its solution"

Why Muslims Should Support Intelligent Design

Evolution and Islam

"As for claim that man has evolved from a non-human species, this is unbelief (kufr) no matter if we ascribe the process to Allah or to "nature," because it negates the truth of Adam's special creation that Allah has revealed in the Qur'an. Man is of special origin, attested to not only by revelation, but also by the divine secret within him, the capacity for ma'rifa or knowledge of the Divine that he alone of all things possesses. By his God-given nature, man stands before a door opening onto infinitude that no other creature in the universe can aspire to. Man is something else."

Since Darwin didn't reject God I think maybe your wrong.

The question should be can the literal Genesis account and Darwinism Co-exist? The answer is no. For Genesis to be taken literally then a good bit of science has to be thrown out. It is much easier to take Genesis as an allegorical account of the beginning and leave the science alone.

That is a big kick in the head for people who interpret the Bible literally but sooner or later they will have to get over it. For now they are going to come to this thread scream and yell but really most of them are already dying off. They just like to make a big stink.

Darwin's ideas on religion and his ideas on evolution are separate issues. Just as Nobel's ideas on chemistry and religion are separate issues.

I don't think God created fossils, so as to trick anyone. He created a few hundred of millions of years worth of life, so that I can fill my 40 gallon gas tank, and so that biologists have something interesting to study in school.

Where did Darwin reject God? Please cite a specific reference. I will help you with one thing: his "deatbed recantation" is a myth.
