Unless Israel did, in fact, successfully defang Hezbollah. In which case, Syria is gonna have to start doing their own fighting and call it what it really is.
I didn't think they'd be this stupid either. It's possible that this is just Assad being full of hot air, but the reports FOX and others have had the past few days concerning movement on the border makes me think he's actually going to be stupid enough to try it. It's possible that the ceasefire made Israel appear so weak that Assad thinks now is the best chance to take the Golan Heights.
They may have been lulled into a stupid state by the news lately making Israel out to be defeated by the Hezzies. If they want to believe that, then they deserved to be kicked to the curb.
