They know that Chavez' screed could turn out to have the same effect as OBL's pre-election warning to Americans back in 2004...and they want to distance themselves from it.

You mean the Democrats are distancing themselves from their 2008 Presidential front running CHAVEZ because their Democrat leftist internal polls are showing that he is having a positive effect on the useful idiots , DUmmies, and the ANTI-AMERICAN crowd so they have to distance themselves.... lol...
