Does anybody know the story of his future? I heard that he was planning on retiring after the next term anyways before all this nonsense broke. Is that still the plan here?

If it is a mealy-mouth "We-should-have-done-more-We'll-learn-from this-We-regret-the-emotional-harm-done-to-the-young-people" semi-apology ... then he should just keep quiet.
