It makes me sick that I'm from the same state as him...seriously.
He makes me want to stick my finger directly into my eye...and swirl it around.
Buhuhuh.

Are we talking about the same Senator Hagel that joined with a fellow RINO Olympia Snow to vote with Democrats because they were to stupid and lazy to look at the 40,000 documents translated from the Docex project.
Despite the clear evidence showing Saddams connections to terrorism they would rather help the Democrats show an investment of failure in Iraq by going into the Senate Select intelligence hearings with preconceived notions of why we didn't belong in Iraq.
Someone needs to hold this A-holes feet to the fire if he wants to help the Democrats showcase their disdain for our President and our troops mission.

This just makes me laugh. Peggy has been in search of a new muse for some time now. I guess she found someone befitting of the dourness she has become...Chuck Hagel.

Before everyone derides her, there is a historical thread of isolationism within the conservative movement that, I think, she is reflecting.

My question is where the hell has Hagel been during the years the Republicans had the majority? Not a peep out of anybody, no backbone whatsoever. And now he decides to grow a spine. Too little too late.
Why wasn't he sounding the trumpet to release our troops to execute this war and finish the job so that they could come home sooner?

If we're going to start calling traitors "brave" (and we're NOT, Peegy!) the closest thing to bravery was Russ Feingold wanting to really pull the funds instead of passing this whiny, seditious, enemy-encouraging resolution.

PLEASE remember that this Nebraska Senator made his money on plastic cards. He believes in complex ID cards for EVERYTHING.
He won't even consider an on-line Data Base. Trust in his Cards; that's his mantra.
I'm from Omaha and I don't. I want an On-Line & checkable Data-base!

I think Hagel is traitor trash. He has lots of company on the Hill.

And the general with boots on the ground said the resolution would give comfort to the enemy and depress the troops.
Hagel is wrong.
Noonan is wrong.
Liberals are wrong.
Democrats are wrong.
Bitching about the policy is not policy. If these cowards want to cut and run and leave Iraq to the terrorists, then cut off the funds.
Otherwise, have a nice big cup of STFU.

Sounds to me like Hagel's jumping on the band wagon.

Peggy has been drinking the cool-aid. Without 9/11 we are not in Iraq. Has everyone forgotten that day except me and George W. Bush?

That's too bad, Peggy. You really appeared to have it together back during the Reagan years. You've been acting a little strange lately, though.
Onset of dementia, perhaps?

Well, the votes are in, Petraeus confirmed 99-0 which is a fine indication that Hagel and company are ballless wonders.

. . . I don't ever want to look back and have the regret that I didn't have the courage and I didn't do what I could. . . .The key to Hagel's panicky and irrational tirade. Like Murtha, he has never taken responsibility for what he did (or more likely didn't do)in Vietnam.
Noonan of course was busy getting all wet and glassy-eyed and totally missed what was happening in front of her.
