very fluid lava more than 1000 degrees [C or F?]That would have to be C, as quartz conversion is only beginning at 1000 degrees F. But even 1000 degrees C is only 1832 F, and I think at best you have some kind of mushy, yogurt-consistency lava at that point. Somebody please double check my figures.
