I know the feeling. My wife and I will probably move out of state within the next couple of years, if just to get away from the traffic.
bump
We left California 17 years ago. When we first moved to Mission Viejo, my husband’s commute was a doable 45 minutes, when we left, it was a minimum of an hour and half, if he left the house at five in the morning and waited until the traffic died down in the evening before heading home.
I used to work in Chatsworth (Valley) and commuted to Bellflower. It was an hour and a half (one way) because I had to go through LA. I too came home late just to avoid the rush home. I did it for the stock options.
Part of my family is in Texas, I might just go there. There’s even a county with my last name (Bosque)! Thanks to an explorer ancestor. ;-)
Just say NO to Amnesty!! Keep calling!! Its NOT OVER!!
