The purpose of the US welfare system is to create a permanent underclass of fat, ugly, lazy, stupid people who, when they can get off their lardly arses to vote, will pull the lever for the party that promises them the most freebies. Oh yeah, I forgot the “Tattoo-to-tooth ratio” which is usually heavily in favor of the tattoos in this group. Lots of piercings too. I guess when you get free health care, free food, and subsidized rent all without having the hassle of a job you can afford to decorate your person. Plenty of time to make more little welfare recipients too.
