I predicted this. Due to his level of mental perversion I guestimated that he would not resign. He thinks his behavior is alright.

The Pubbie leadership better start shoving him out the frickin’ door. This man simply cannot make up his mind as to who he is or what he wants to do. He is so confused about himself and his life it isn’t even funny.

I agree. Craig may be delusional enough to believe that he can stay. I don’t believe that this will set well with the so-called leadership. If they don’t run him out of town on a rail, I will lose the last remaining grain of faith that I have left.

“I predicted this. Due to his level of mental perversion I guestimated that he would not resign. He thinks his behavior is alright.”

That and he is a selfish egomaniac.

“These Senators sure do love their jobs.”

Power, perks, money, yeah it’s tough to get these guys out once they’re in.

I wonder how it feels, Senator Craig, to be a man that no one -- no one -- respects.

But Craig made the announcement in Morse Code:

TAP-TAP-tap-tap
tap-TAP-TAP-tap...

“Sen. Mitch McConnell, Minority Leader, won’t allow this to happen. “Sen. Craig (R-Homo), meet the Ethics Committee.”

Yeah, that’s just what the GOP needs-—an ethics hearing.

Apparently, being in Congress must be a lot like being on Heroin. It’s hard to get these guys to leave it behind. My senator can’t hardly walk or talk and has spent the last year in a hospital and still says he’s running for re-election.

The Ethics committee is not going to remove him. The GOP leadership does not have authority to overturn the votes of the people of Idaho.

From Craig’s perspective, at age 60+, he is facing a choice to resign in complete disgrace and be known as a homo, or holding on and letting the clock run and waiting for a miracle. It is no different than people getting chemotherapy. They are trying to buy time for a cure to arrive.

Pity his wife and family. They are the victims.

Yes. Plus the Republican governor of Idaho announced immediately after the judge’s ruling denying the plea withdrawal that a successor has been chosen and will be announced upon Craig’s resignation. Even his home state doesn’t want him.

Sure, Craig is creepy, but at least he isn’t a crook like William Jefferson.

Well why not.

The Democrats have homosexuals and an ex KKK recruiter.

We are a compassionate and inclusive party, aren't we?
