Even Mike Huckabee is doing this well in the Agnes-Reid poll against Hillary and we're supposed to beleive Rudy911 is the only one that can't beat Hillary?

Huckabee vs. Hillary, 10/6/2007:

(Angus Reid Global Monitor) - Republican Mike Huckabee is still trailing two prospective Democratic presidential nominees in the United States, according to a poll by Rasmussen Reports. 48 per cent of respondents would support New York senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, while 40 per cent would vote for the former Arkansas governor.

In fact, Huckabee has passed Giuliani in Iowa as Rudy911 slips to FOURTH in that state:

http://blog.washingtonpost.com/the-trail/2007/10/08/post_123.html

Back in May, when the Register last surveyed the state, Rudy Giuliani and John McCain were essentially tied for second in Iowa, with McCain at 18 percent and Giuliani at 17 percent. Today, second places goes to Fred Thompson, at 18 percent. Mike Huckabee is now third at 12 percent in a virtual tie with Giuliani, who has dropped to 11 percent

Did they do an electoral college poll of likely voters?

I thought not.

Hillary is also ahead of Fred Thompson by 13 points in the FOX poll. I can’t say that I agree with the conventional wisdom circulating around here that Fred is the best bet to take down her majesty. Now, I don’t think Rudy is either, due to his personal baggage and his unacceptability to the social conservatives. Huckabee is impressive, but has no money.

Really, I don't see how these numbers can mean anything until the Republicans complete their nomination process.

Then we'll see how they unify behind the freely selected candidate.

This isn't the democrat party coronation process where they throw out some human sacrifices to placate the seething masses while the forge the crown for their dark queen.

The democrat party isn't about democracy...It's not so much that they want Hillary as that their party has decided for them that she has the best chance and the best fund raising machine. From there it's not so much a factor of unifying behind a candidate as it is congealing like old, spoiled milk.

So once we've completed our nomination process from the multitude of candidates, we'll see where those numbers go.

Hillary is either going to be the next George McGovern, or Jimmy Carter. Only the American people will decide, not the pundits like the ones that said USC was favored by 41 points over Stanford.

Hillary is the favored Democrat, while the Republicans are fighting it out.

Besides, do you really trust a Post/ABC poll?

Polls and the MSM are always going make Hitlary look good; no matter what.

She’s about as exciting and productive as paint drying on the walls.

This will be the tactic of lame stream media from now until election day. Give the impression that it's inevitable that she'll be the next president so that demoralized GOP voters won't even bother.

Won't work on me and I hope it will not work on others.

I'll think she'll get hammered in the debates against her Republican opponent.

Rrrrright...and Fox had on a guy this morning who traveled to the Middle East and talked to terrorist leaders who overwhelmingly want her in the White House. Frank Luntz on, too, saying that her Iowa incident was healthy but the cackle has “Dan Quayled” her. Regarding Sandy Burglar, Frank says she did not make the wrong decision. Whatever.

Bill Clinton never received a majority vote, and he could do the ‘warm and fuzzy’ routine. Hillary is not going to poll 51%. Having said that, we really need to choose wisely and put forth the person who can win. That may not be the person who we would ideally want, but I guarantee it will be a better choice in the long run than allowing another Clinton administration.

Ann Coulter mentioned that a Clinton friend bought up all the rag sheets...Enquirer etc....anyone know who this would be? She said “so now we won’t even see anything bad about the Clinton’s in these things”.

“Besides, do you really trust a Post/ABC poll?”

I don’t trust any polls. I’ve spoken to many Libs over the past year and NOT ONE OF THEM was voting for the Beast.

They’re as tired of the Clintoons as the rest of us.
