The Democrats forwarded this notion with the intent to openly sabotage our war efforts. They couldn't give a d@mn about genocide, hell, they openly support infanticide and compel the public to subsidize it.
Open treason. This was just one way they could harm our troops and their efforts, so they did it.
Is there anyone around here associated with the high level aspects of logistics that can accuratly evaluate the Turks’ actual participation?
I do have to admit to ignorance on the particulars. The only time I’ve heard of specifics was when the Turk decided to play the easy game of “Screw the Americans” and picked the islamics side of the fight by refusing to honor their agreement to allow the 4th ID transit.
That single act alone should earn them the full removal of “ally” considerations in a war time setting.... if we were actually interested, as a nation, in motivating nations to stop punking us every time it appears to be a fun game to play.
No consequences for screwing us over. That’s the last I’ve heard on the Turk issue. What did I miss?
Most importantly--before Ataturk, the founder of the modern secular Turkish state, and one of the U.S. and Israel's best allies in the region.
Under the Ottoman empire, not the current administration.
They are one and the same. Ottoman Turks are Turks...same race-—same genocide denial.
We need their help at present with our conflict
NO we do not. They need our help—without the billions of foreign aid they get yearly the paratate of turkey would have ceased to exist long ago. Let it be so soon.
