Trying to create a scandal over Republican presidential candidate John McCain's failure to rebuke a woman supporter who called Hillary Clinton a bitch, CNN's Rick Sanchez led Tuesday night's Out in the Open with what he insisted was the relevant and newsworthy topic as he seriously asked: Is John McCain done as a result of this? He later speculated: Is his campaign dead in the water?
Betraying the skew of those at CNN, Sanchez told guest Amy Holmes: He could be in trouble for this from women, especially the ones that've been talking to me today in our newsroom who heard this and were offended. Sanchez's spin matched that of left-wing bloggers, a story in Wednesday's New York Times revealed: The clip began showing on Web sites like Salon.com, the liberal site TPM.com and others, with bloggers asking why Mr. McCain had not taken the questioner to task.
Setting up the video, Sanchez haughtily intoned: You're going to hear a McCain supporter. She refers to Hillary Clinton using really what is a horrible word that is used to do nothing but demean women. Well, at the time, it was a supporter who said that. It wasn't until later on, when we watched the whole tape, which is what you're about to see, that you see McCain's reaction, or lack thereof, that we decided that this is both relevant and newsworthy, and important information to this campaign.
An older woman at an event in South Carolina had asked: How do we beat the bitch? An appalled Sanchez complained: He says 'that's an excellent question,' after somebody refers to Hillary Clinton as a B-word which rhymes with witch.

Was wunderin if sumone wood member that......Hic!
I don't even want to contemplate that . . .
McCain’s answer should have been:
“I think the way to beat any liberal is to take them head on, on the issues and let them sink under the consequences of their positions.”
If McCain were pressed on why he did denounce the questioner he should have said:
“How much time did the liberals spend distancing themselves for Moveon.org’s “Betrayus” ad?”
How about Hillary calling the President a liar Rick? Have another drink Rick but this time don’t get behind the wheel of a car and kill someone you POS.

This would be relevant if McCain were relevant.
Good one!!!!
I tend to like Rick Sanchez. Did you hear him the other night when he interviewed that nasty Phelps fellow and the father of the deceased Marine who sued Phelps?
I head for House Hunters at 10:00. Even if I’ve seen the show three times, I like watching it. Must be brain dead, but decorating shows are fun to watch. I get some ideas for my own house sometimes. Of course, I forget almost immediately so watching the show three times is good for me (smile). I like mysteries and have watched Murder She Wrote and all those others over and over again. I like CSI:Miami and loved Crossing Jordan. My husband, alas, cares for none of them. He likes the History Channel, Geography Channel, animal stuff and SNAKES. Yuk. (He can watch them after I’m in bed or on the somputer. Aren’t I kind?)
Sanchez is awful. I made the mistake of watching his show before where he cheapshot a guest that had the audacity to be against amnesty for illegal aliens.
I watched the video today and thought he handled it very well. Anyone who can tick off feminists is tops in my book (LOL).
Thats a terrible thing to call Hillary!
Im sure Hillary would never curse like that and call someone a name! I bet she NEVER uses curse words, or have a foul mouth! Can you imagine Hillary ever swearing - even a little one like darn or heck?
Nah Not Hillary!
-or would she?????
(HeeHee time for someone to list her litany!)
Nor I. . .and that 'outpatient' status is in a word. . .'overkill'. . .
Nice bumper sticker.
This is a truly historic story. Rick Sanchez obviously is Pulitzer material. This is a definite campaign wrecker, just as bad as the shocking expose' of how Mitt Romney carried a dog in a cage on top of his car thirty years ago.
Idiots. Among normal American women this will WIN support for McCain, because any normal American woman knows the term as applied to Clinton is precise and accurate.
Probably not, since that term also fits Hillary Clinton with accuracy and precision.
Thanks for the ping!
Short story:
I remember a time when the internet didn’t exist, and the mainstream media was still relevant.
The End.
