I guess they trust David Duke's judgment. Or maybe they just like the silver coins.

Islamic militants, neo-Nazis, goldbugs, Sheehanites, 9/11 Truthers - they are all flocking to the Ron Paul standard.
Lyndon LaRouche is filing an injunction against the Paul campaign for alienation of affection.

Heck, my father would vote for Ron Paul, but he’ll never be able to because he would never register Republican.
He’s a died in the wool Democrat and in these parts its a closed primary.
He’s been hung up on anti-war since Vietnam.
He watched Uncle Walter call retreat on TV in 1968.

Interesting article.
I would note that the appeal is far broader than merely to Arab Muslims. The large majority of Arabs in this country are Christians, generally refugees from oppressive or economic basketcase Islamic countries.
So the campaign and the grassroots are appealing to Arab Americans with some success. They are also appealing to Muslims in America, most of which are not Arab.
I think it’s important to delineate the actual numbers and which groups we’re discussing and the backgrounds of each group.

Ron Paul’s base is the oddest assortment of weirdos from every political stripe imaginable. I imagine Ron Paul meetups have got to be like the bar scene in Star Wars: the far right, the far left, peaceniks, klan members, jihadists, random Texas constituents, objectivists and pot smokers.

The common thread Ive been reading lately about leftists and Jews is that they are having trouble getting more than a dozen people to come to their stuff (whether anti-Zionist or Zionist). The anti-Israel movement is not moving forward, because protest Zionist imperialism is just not a catchy slogan. By contrast, there are over 400 RP activists against war taxes in Boston alone. Every day the list of passionate anti-war activists grows. Very few of them agree with every single RP position, they just want to get the Lobby out of the way and pull the troops out of Iraq.
Interesting. ADL is declining, AIPAC has overplayed its hand with many others. The NAACP is shrinking at rapid rate as has Jackson's Rainbow Coalition shakedown operation. Nation of Islam is on the decline as well.
Their problem is that they are essentially un-American politically correct speech Nazis or pressing forward an agenda that excites only a few hardcore followers, not ideas that can attract broad support.
And Ron Paul keeps picking up support from his broad coalition who hear an inclusive message about smaller government and liberty and who find his grassroots supporters to be a welcoming group.

After the Republican debate on Tuesday evening in Dearborn, Mich., a reporter from the Arab-American News asked Ron Paul what he thought of the term Islamic fascism. Its a false term to make people think were fighting Hitler, Paul responded. Its war propaganda designed to generate fear so that the war has to be spread.
