Fred winning the post debate poll?
Fox News | 01/10/2008 | Philistone

Missed the debate, but watching the Fox post-debate looks like if you subtract the Paulbots from their online poll, Fred was #1.

Your take?

Fred won. He showed intelligence, poise, unflappibility, and downright humor. He is a leader! Adn he will mop the floor with any democrat who dares to stand next to him on stage.

Not about Fred, but an observation.

In the Rep debates, the Rep candidates are constantly talking about Reagan and many of the questions were about Reagan and conservatism.

Contrast to the Dem debates. Any questions about the other recent two term president, Clinton? Where are the questions about “Clinton liberalism” or the candidates telling the audience how they would be the next Clinton?

Interesting how the Repubs embrace their hero and the Dems run from their party hero like scalded dogs...

Well, consider... all but one of the Dems would rather not paint "Clinton" in a favorable light because they are competing with the one Dem who -is- a Clinton. And she's already embracing her hero.

And she's already embracing her hero.

Well technically, she's one of the few women in America who haven't embraced her hero in at least 30 years...

Most of the group think Fred won, but 90% just said he was not electable and it looks like the majority will vote for McCain. I took my family downtown tonight to see the debate spectacle and McCain has all the momentum. It looks like too little, too late for Fred. If McCain wins MI and SC, this race is over in my opinion. I think we all better get prepared for the McCain / Huckabee ticket.

Saw that. They all thought Fred was the best, but too late.

Time to remind them that it’s never too late.

Let’s see what happens to the polls tomorrow.

A FOX ‘expert’ just said McCain will win Michigan by getting votes from the independents, and then if he wins SC, he will be the Repub nominee. So, the Republican nominee is chosen by people who are NOT Republicans.

What a Screwed Up system.

Fox News - FUBR! The shear idiocy of Fox News snubbing the only true and best conservative, Duncan Hunter, makes me want to tune out Brit Hume. Tell me that Rupert Murdoch is not being led like a sheep to the slaughter by the 5.46 per cent of Class B voting shares owned by Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal.

They’re showing the text number on the screen. Have to text to a number. Since I don’t have a cell, I didn’t pay attention.

Don’t forget that McCain cleaned up in 2000 before SC. Then W showed what he had.

Don’t give up hope for Fred yet.
