Actually, the sun will only live to be 10 billion years old. 5 billion of that is already up! So, get your affairs in order and make your peace.
Also, the sun is getting hotter and hotter all the time, so we don't even have that much time left. The "green zone" that our planet enjoys for the moment will soon move out past our orbit, and Earth will become uninhabitable LONG before the Sun expands into red giant stage.
Of course, none of this has anything to do with CO2 emissions. Ah, the arrogance of man...
