Westboro Church gets FReeped and Guarded out of Reno

Three of the members from the “Westboro Baptist Church” dared to enter Nevada today to picket at the funeral of one of our fallen soldiers. The family of Staff Sergeant Sean Gaul was holding an open memorial service for their fallen son today at 11:00am in Reno, NV. The three scum were met by over 200 Patriot Guard Riders and FReepers. They stayed for about 10 minutes and then fled to their car about 500 feet from their original site across the street from the Church, where the services were being held. None of the family or attendees was exposed to the scum. The PGR had them completely blocked off from the view from South Virginia Street. After they left they did a drive by shouting about 15 minutes later. This is the second time they have been met by the combined forces of FReeprs and PGR here in Northern Nevada. We hope they will not come back.

We then covered both sides of the road with about half of the good guys on one side half on the other.

Thanks to Washoe County Sheriff and Reno Police for their traffic control and presence.

Phelps is on the left, the guy on the right is the pastor from Poltergeist 2. I've always thought it was creepy how much they look and act alike.

I used to think that they were actually a plant by the leftists. It’s a very old political trick to get someone to act like a supporter of the opposition, and then do outrageous things to make it look like the opposition supports them, but I’ve come to the conclusion that they’re just a bunch of hateful nuts. Their rantings aren’t even coherent.

My friend it is not only my honor but my duty to stand up for those of you in uniform. Apparently there are at least 200 others in the area who feel the same way. BTW the weather forecast was to be horrible - it was not - I believe there would of been 400 if the forecast had been better.

I was puzzling over that too. It would take a significant amount of cash. They had a rental car which means they probably flew in. Even at $300 per ticket with food and motel it was at least $2500 for this immediate defeat.

re: Where do these morons get their funding to wander the country pulling this crap

From what I have heard, they have made a lot of money suing whenever their "free speech" rights are "violated". That is why nearly every community they go to allows them to get away with their mission to disrupt funerals, attack homosexuals, protest our fallen soldiers, etc. The local governments are always afraid of being sued.

Taps is the saddest song I’ve ever heard. Whenever it’s played at a funeral, it tears me up.

Everyone we don’t even refer to them by their name. In PGR terminology they are referred to as “UGs” or “uninvited guests”.

No sense is giving those idiots any more name recognition. They aren’t worthy of any more attention than that.

Many of the UGs are attorneys. Their con game under the guise of a church is to get some town to deny them their 1st Amendment Rights and they turn around and sue the city, town or whoever.

I will defend anyone’s constitutional rights as far as free speech is concerned but there comes a line on human dignity that you just don’t cross. When a family is saying goodbye to a “loved one” is one of those lines and the fact that someone paid the ultimate price in defense of those rights makes it many times as bad IMO.

We turn our backs on them and shield the family from seeing the puke as much as possible. They are totally unworthy of any attention and have become a non-factor.

It is about the kids over there fighting, the fallen, the families of the fallen, the wounded and the veterans and the rest of us don’t matter except to show support.

God Bless Our Troops.
