In keeping with my "backhoe" personae of just being a good old boy from the swamp, I "know about stuff I don't always let on about..."
During the eighties, I was the Polish Solar Observer Society's lone American contributor of data for the Wolf Number, which they compile and which is used in radio propagation forecasts.
There is no doubt in my mind that Sol is the Master Controller of weather here...
I'll give you a graphic which sums up my take on "The coming Ice Age/Global Warming/Climate Change" ( Lord only knows what else it will morph into if Climate Change doesn't get the attention desired ) but here's the problem with all of it.
We simply do not have enough information, over a wide enough range over the Earth, or going back far enough in time ( remember, a hundred years ago a "weather station" was a thermometer, a weather vane, and maybe a mercury barometer- and they weren't all across the Earth, either ) to know what the "H" we are talking about.
A thousand years is nothing in terms of geological time- yet some groups want us to cripple our economies based on a few years observations.
When you google "mass of the solar system," you learn:
The Sun is by far the largest object in the solar system. It contains more than 98.8% of the total mass of the Solar System (Jupiter contains most of the rest).
So my guess is Sol is the master controller, and the works of Man probably doesn't have much effect... here's a picture:
