If Frank Rich is the voice of elite liberal opinion, Hillary Clinton is in deep, deep trouble. How many folks on the Upper West Side and reasonable facsimiles thereof from Boston to Madison to LA will be opening their hearts -- or credit cards -- to Hillary after reading Rich's stunning indictment of Clinton and her campaign this morning?
The jumping-off point for Rich's column is the live prime-time special the night before Super Tuesday that the Clinton campaign conducted. Flashing his theater-critic roots, Rich panned it as a "boring" "pseudo-event," noting that "some in attendance appeared to trance out." But if the staging was bad, the substance was much, much worse in Rich's view. For he claims that it reflected nothing less than Clinton playing from a "thick deck of race cards."

I’m flabbergasted at how both parties are destroying themselves. Well, okay, I’m happy to see the Rats destroying their party. The northeast liberal Rat racists will never vote for obama. And when hillary steals the nomination at the convention, obama supporters will gather up their marbles and go home, never to vote for hillary.
I have a feeling that the Marxist Green party will pull in close to 10% of the Rat disaffected vote in some areas. I also believe that angry obama supporters will spill the beans on the Rat’s illegal voting schemes.
This election will be a big, big mess. I think whoever wins the presidency will come in with an instant 70% disapproval rating on the first day in office.

If I've learned one thing over the past 16 years, it is NEVER to count the Clintons out. I truly believed that Blubba was all but dead after the Gennifer Flowers Paula Jones and Whitewater imbroglios but he won the Dem's primary. I thought he'd be eviscerated when Kathleen Wille surfaced, but he survived...and I was sure Monica would impeach and remove him in disgrace. It didn't...
Somehow, someway, the Clinton machine will be able to cheat Obama out of the prize--okay, tin foil in place, but I really believe the Clintons will pull one of their surprises on Barak that their detectives have dug up!
Sounded to me as though he is condemning her ‘packaging’ rather than her.
And his main complaint, no questions from African-Americans.

No, Shillary will choose Richardson, in line with her Hispanic pandering.
McCain will choose either Fred Thompson, to shore up the right, or Tim Pawlenty, MN gov, to put the Midwest in play.
and Huckleberry, if he wants to have a prayer in 2012, will suck it up and support the Pubbies in the South.
With this lineup, McCain will lose NM and will need to win MN or WI to make up for it.
O'bama leads 54-46 at the convention.
The stupordelegates, unelected by the people, vote for Hillary en masse, giving her the nomination.
She picks white-bread Edwards for VP.
The O'bama delegates, incensed at being shut out once again from the party, burn down the convention building, and Hillary escapes with a flaming pantsuit.
The general public wakes up and votes for Thompson.

Frank Rich has always had some problems with Hillary because he has a crush on Bill. And don’t even get him started talking about Monica! On the other hand, Obama is really cute!

IMHO Frank Rich saw how harsh we (the conservatives) are on phony John McCain so he was able to summon up the cojones to expose phony Hillary for what she really is

I am not sure I understand what selecting John Edwards as VP brings to the ticket. He certainly is not very popular in the South and in fact did not run for reelection because he knew he would loose.
I am amazed at the choices this year. When I look at both sides and the "talent" running all I can do is shake my head and wonder if they represent the best America can do. The highest land in the office, leader of the free world and these 4 are the cream of the nation. How far we have fallen as a country.
Hey, it’s gonna be close, but it won’t automatically be exactly the same as last time. Some states will swing 3, 4, 5 points one way or the other. No telling.

Leeching human qualities from Hellary is as necessary as leeching blood from a bowling ball.
We’re witnessing a seachange in the liberal media, 16 years too late for them to claim any moral virtue. And the only reason they’re doing it now is that they have a new meal ticket.
It’s enjoyable for now, but after the dust settles Obama probably will be harder to beat come November.

For weeks now, Hillary! has talked about how she’s been vetted and Obama has not. They surely do have something on Obama and if things continue to go for her as they have in the past several primaries/caucuses, the Clinton machine will get it out.
One difference between then and now for the Clintons is that in ‘92 he was (as it were) the Great White Hope for the Democrats; after that they wielded the enormous power of his office. Plus a scattering of FBI files. They were able to cajole and intimidate those who got in their way. Also, the Republicans may have overdone it. They don’t have all that going for them today.
There’s a new Great Half-White/Half-Black Hope who’s attracting more followers than Slick ever did. Frankly, I’d love to see the Clintons pull their usual ploys and deprive Obama of the nomination, then have him refuse the #2 spot. There is nothing in it for him. And, he would be disadvantaged (and at risk) taking her as #2.
I have learned never to discount the Clinton machine--he is the personification of the anti-Christ IMO and better that the great Harry Houdini when it comes to escaping. He has plenty of MSM and other accomplices and those who have opposed him wind up either non-factors (Ken Starr, Linda Tripp), humiliated (the list of women raped, abused and harrassed) or outright dead.
Frank Rich and all liberals who want Obama t win should DEMAND that the Clintons RELEASE their TAX FORMS and tell where the 5 MILLION DOLLARS came from? Dubai?? Ron Burkle?? Off shore Bank Accounts?? WHERE??
Hillary has the Hispanic vote in her back pocket...Richardson has grown a beard...she’s not going to be picking him.
