Mayor Bloomberg would give nearly $1 billion to Obama's campaign after which Obama would bolt from the Democratic Party and run as an Independent

Straight from the Too Good To Be True Department.

“The word on the street is that the Obama campaign and New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg have already met and devised an incredible plan if Clinton wins the nominee. Mayor Bloomberg would give nearly $1 billion to Obama’s campaign after which Obama would bolt from the Democratic Party and run as an Independent candidate with king-maker Bloomberg as his running mate.”

Uh, yeah... right. So if Obama wins through normal channels, he is going to take Bloomberg on as his VP?

What is up with this happy horse-shinola that Bloomberg is some kind of “king maker”? Who on God’s green earth recognizes Bloomberg as a politician outside of political pundits and New Yorkers? Did I miss a decade or something?

McCain (R) vs. Hillary (D) vs. Obama (I) all at once?

Wow... sounds like it’s popcorn and C-SPAN time!

It's mind boggling that the Clintons are willing to destroy the entire Democratic Party, and potentially in the process lose the White House and seats in Congress, for their own selfish thirst for power and glory.

No it's not.

The Clintons are willing to do far, far more than "...destroy the entire Democratic Party, and potentially in the process lose the White House and seats in Congress..." for their own selfish thirst for power and glory.

What amazes me is that the writer is surprised by this. Do you really think Hillary would drop $5 mill of her own money if she wasn't capable of doing anything to win the nomination? Wake up, child...

we can all expect her and her husband to pull out all the stops to get her through.

The words "fort", "Marcy", and "Park" immediately come to mind.

Since when have secret deals between billionaires and Presidential candidates been discussed on the “street?”

It is? Mind boggling to who?

Ugly is in the eye of the beholder.

To me, the demonRAT primary is a thing of beauty.

Give them machetes and put them in Bronco stadium for a winner take all.

What’s outrageous and mind-boggling?

The Clintons did the same thing to the Dem party in Arkansas.

This is actually pretty intelligent on Obama’s part, threatening to leave and take the black vote with him without having to say a word. The Democrat Party elites will throw Hillary overboard without a second thought rather than let that happen, since it would throw the election to McCain. Hill and Bill were useful to the party as long as they were winning elections, but they aren’t winning elections anymore.

The Grifters have been outmanuevered by the newbie in the empty suit. Whoever’s advising him is very, very smart.

It’s time for Hillary to get out of the way, and let the Obamarama revival roll on. Our pop culture has their messiah. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I can’t wait until the same flakes are begging someone to save them from the pop shock Obama is going to give them. I want Democrats to get into such a fever pitch over Obama that they swoon at his feet. The higher they float up on his hot air, the harder the crash when they fall.
