The Hillary Clinton Campaign released a video starring Jack Nicholson today. The spot consists of a statement from Nicholson along with him in character as The Joker, Col. Jessup (A Few Good Men), and Jake Gittes (Chinatown).
Pure and simple: That ad defines pathetic.
No he's not he plays Jack Nicholson in every role ... Like Al Pachino
.
There’s nothing sexier than taking orders from a woman in the morning? WTF Jack? Are you putting bourbon on your pancakes instead of syrup?
Don’t panic, this ad isn’t going to bring Hiliarly any new converts, not even close.
This is as good as it gets for her.
Maybe it’s just me, but I always thought, “A Few Good Men,” was quite anti-military.
Making our Marines look like a bunch of murderous, mindless robots? Making our Navy look like a bunch of agenda-driven, “Don’t give a damn,” types?
Actually the ad is a joke, no?
I enjoyed the review of the short scenes of Nicholson’s movies, but saw no connection whatever with Hillary, no connection whatever!
Do you want him to go for Obama? Please there are enough going after that fake. There are two democrats and quite frankly I am glad he went for her instead of putting more life into Obamamania. Vote Hillary on 4 March!!!! McCain vs. Hillary is much better for the GOP much as some FREEPERS don’t believe it.
Who cares what Nicholson thinks? He’s a great actor; I love his films. But his opinions carry no more weight than do mine — or anyone else’s.
Actors, even good ones, tend to be morons. Why should Nicholson be an exception?
Nicholson does not own any of the films excerpted. This ad has to have the backing of the studios involved. This is called a “contribution in kind” and must be balanced by free advertising from the other side. I’m waiting...
When you said he was in his “Joker” costume, I thought he’d say: “This town needs an enema!!”
I didn’t hear Hillary say at the end of the ad: “I’m Hillary Clinton and I approve this message.” I think that by law she has to say that. Plus there’s no Hillary campaign logo or info shown at any time. This has got to be fake.
I think it is a spoof. If he used those clips in an ad for Hillary, they would have had to provide a note of where they came from. Copyright laws?
As long as the right palms are greased, it doesn’t matter about any problematic laws.
-Clinton Rule #1.
In the first place, this is obviously a send-up and not put out by the Clinton campaign. But I wonder if people remember the rest of the clip from A Few Good Men? The clip in the ad stops at the point Jack is talking about saluting a female officer. In the scene, Jack is telling Tom Cruise about the satisfaction of receiving oral sex from a superior female officer.
Man that was SAD
