What nobody seems to know is that Cesar Chavez was actually against illegal immigration. He was a union man whose primary concern was keeping wages high, and since illegals drive down wages, he didn’t want them around.
Maybe Obama can call for a Hugo Chavez Day, once he finds this out.

I think you've got your fingers and toes, all 20 of 'em, on the button there ~ Obama doesn't realize Ceasar and Hugo are different guys and didn't believe in the same sort of nonsense.
Frankly, I don't think your "typical black guy" spends all that much time keeping up on Hispanic news. (/sarc)

You are absolutely correct. Chavez hated illegals because they were cutting in on his action. I don’t think Hussein has a clue.

Must have been a flub on Obama's part, he would never support a national holiday for someone who was against "social justice" for illegal aliens to live here freely. He probably meant to propose a national Che Guevara Day.
After all, isn't that whose picture is displayed in his campaign offices?

Good Gravy! Is that why Austin recently renamed our 1st St. (literally our first street named way back in the early 1800s) Cesar Chavez St?
He was a unionist? Who knew!
