That could mean global warming has taken a breather. Or it could mean scientists aren't quite understanding what their robots are telling them.

Or it could mean that the scientists are too committed to their theory to believe their observations.

Global warming has been a reality for more than 10,000 years. People had nothing to do with it and human civilization would probably never have developed without it. The frightening thing for some of us is that it looks like the natural warming cycle may be nearing the end.

“Or it could mean that the scientists are too committed to their theory to believe their observations.”

Exactly. They have a serious dilemma and are trying to be modern-day Procrustes.

I recently read a research report that pointed out that Scientists are becoming very concerned with the recent inactivity of Solar output.

The last 10 years, the Sun was ejecting mass quantities of radiation due to hyperactive Sun Spot activity. But recently, beginning last fall, the Sun has suddenly fall into almost no such activity.

This may not be just a temporary trend. Some Scientists believe that this may be similar or perhaps even more exaggerated than the phenomenon that caused the “Little Ice Age”. All the indications are very similar to the comparison of Sun Spot activity that occurred during that period.

All of legitimate science eyes are on this phenomenon and are watching closely. Time will tell, but so far, it does not look good. In the mean time, buy warmer clothing, tighten up your doors and window, and prepare for some short wet Summers and cold hard Winters. It may happen sooner than later.

Sort of like much of modern astronomy.
