Is it just me, or has the Car of Tomorrow produced a lot of boring racing?
I think that overall the COT has been good for racing. The numbers indicate that the COT has worked - the improved safety cannot be denied, and the COT races have averaged more cars on the lead lap, more passes for the lead, and more overall passes throughout the field than in previous years.
There are, however, some tracks that I simply do not enjoy as a racing spectator - Dover, Pocono, and New Hampshire top my list of good weekends for yard work. If they don’t do something with California then it may make the list in very short order.
