Have you seen the Vasa? I went to its museum last summer in Stockholm. Here are some pictures I took:

Have you seen the Vasa?

Well, ummm, sort of.

When I was a young pup in the early 1970's, I went to Stockholm but the Vasa was in the process of being sprayed with the polyethylene glycol mist. I think I saw it but, to be truthful, all I remember seeing is a giant cloud of mist. :-)

You got to see her?

I can recall the first time I ever heard of that ship - a National geographic magazine article, and I always thought, how could a ship like that sink barely getting off the dock? And how well preserved she is, it’s incredible.
