So you're voting for Obama or not voting at all?
Whoa! That really surprises me about J.C. Watts. I guess I didn’t know him as well as I was thought to believe about his conservatism.
This whole election is going to be about race. How many people out there are going to vote for Obama just to be a part of the ‘hey, look at me - I voted for the first African-American President’ crowd? Never mind what his qualifications are.
Me too. I used to think quite highly of him. We have a local radio host named Herman Cain who ran for US Senate. He would be better than either of our current GA Senators. Not that they are that bad...he’s just that good.
Same here. I wonder how he weighs Obama's blackness against his support for partial-birth abortion? We haven't heard much from JC Watts since he left office-- is he planning to re-start his career as a Democrat?
Jesse Lee Peterson’s book was a pretty powerful read. It is titled “Scam: How the Black Leadership Exploits Black America.”
Probably Consitution Party. Certainly not Obama. I will not vote for anyone who is for amnesty, fails to protect our borders, and opposed the Cronyn amendment - this is a sell-out of our country.
No.
It’s more than skin color. How many blacks would support Obama if he were conservative?
Armstrong Williams contends that history "thrusts" him to consider Obama. But Hutcherson argues that African-Americans need to forget about their "blackness" and talk about what they can do as citizens of the United States.
"... [T]here will always be a race problem," the pastor maintains. "But conservatives vote on what is right and wrong." Hutcherson says Williams is forgetting that principle because he is excited about Obama's skin color. "... [A]nd I think that that is absolutely wrong," he reprimands.
.......Hutcherson says he will not support any candidate, regardless of party or race, who does not support biblical values.
Too bad we don't have political leaders emulating Pastor Hutcherson's conservative principles. God bless him for standing up to the heat and calling it what it is.
Okay. I think I misunderstood what you meant by no alternative to Obama.
