The consequences of a military attack on Iran to thwart its nuclear intentions could have a devastating economic impact.

NBC News chief foreign correspondent Richard Engel warned on the July 1 “NBC Nightly News” an attack by Israel could send oil prices soaring – sending gas prices into territories never imagined.

Gee, the Liberals’ “NO WAR FOR OIL!” mantra takes on a new meaning, huh?

Interesting that NBC should come out with this just as Iraq seems to be ready to provide relief in the form of a possible steady supply of oil for our future needs, for whatever they might be.

You don’t suppose that that “dumbell” in the White House has actually outsmarted the so-called “intellectuals” he has to tolerate each day?

Naw, couldn’t happen (sarc)

The ruination of the U.S. and World economy, the hardship me, my family, and a whole lot Americans will suffer, is so worth it if we can kill some filthy Arabs.

That is why it does not matter if we do it and shut that little dwarf c********r up for keeps.

Iranians are not Arabs. The Arabs will make loud speeches condemning the action, have demonstrations, etc.etc..

But the Arabs do not like them very much either, and will snicker up their sleeves. They are not exactly wild about another non-Arab country in the neighborhood going nuclear. Then the price of oil will plunge when the Gulf is no longer threatened every week. Iran is using the threat tactics to wage economic war.

“I expect to see gas reach $10 dollars a gallon under President Obama once he signs McCain’s global warming legislation.
lol...
That would put an end to Obama’s future and the Democratic Party would be wandering in the wilderness for the next forty years.”

I wish it would be so, but I fear not. When we all go bankrupt and are unemployed, we will depend upon the government for subsistence handouts. We will all be herded onto their collective farm.

We will still have elections, but the choices will be between two candidates that are clones of each other. Kind of like how things are now.

Not if we go in and take their oil.

Other countries could increase production to make up for the absence of Iranian oil.

The key to keeping prices from hitting the roof is the US blue water Navy must, if war breaks out, immediately destroy ALL of Iran's ships.... so they could not place mines in the Strait of Hormuz.

The world could survive without Iran oil... as long as we keep the oil flowing from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, and other mid east suppliers.
