I heard that on the news this morning. I heard they got a “strong condemnation” from Condi. That’ll stop em!

These missiles will,no doubt,be used to propel the peacefully generated nuclear power to distant corners of Iran and will not be used to wipe Israel off the map...as Iran's leaders routinely (and publicly) call for.

Shouldn’t we be test firing our anti-missile defense system in that neighborhood?

Just for fun let’s put a Star Wars intercept in the Persian Gulf and have a test run on the Iranian missiles.
And not say we did it....
(Is that what happened with the N Korean missile tests???)

Let's see, oil tracks down slightly, stock market goes up, a general feeling that the worst may be over....Then? Iran “test” fires some missiles, oil goes back up, stock market plunges, doom and gloom returns. There is a war already going on and the Iranians know that they can effect the oil markets at will. We have met the enemy and he enemy is us. OPEC has realized that they can bring the great American economy to it's knees at will and pocket billions of dollars in the process.
The sad thing is that we have no one but ourselves to blame. Instead of pushing back at OPEC by showing our willingness to develop our oil resources, we plan to build windmills and drive hybrids. If this Country would step up to the plate and allow the entrepreneurs who made this country great develop our reserves while simultaneously developing alternative energy and technology, oil prices would drop accordingly.

I hope they run out of missiles playing their saber rattling game.

Fox and Friends showed some video that purported to show the launches. It was impossible to gauge the size of the missiles. The exhaust plumes were irregular with erratic sparks flying, not uniform tongues of fire one usually sees with a shuttle or ICBM launch. I’ve witnessed night Minuteman launches about as up-close and personal as it is safe to be.(1500M)
These missiles looked crude to my eyes.

We should have some of our new jets take a quick and sudden flight over Tehran, specifically where their Mullahs, Ayatollahs, and “President” live.

How many of these “test” firings until one of these missles accidentally hits a U.S. warship, ala USS Vincennes? The Navy theatre commanders and the Pentagon brass had better be on their toes.

Watch for Russia and China to come out - not as overt allies of Iran - but as "protectors of a significant source of world oil resources".
This will hamper the US and Israeli response.

Iran should truly continue to test their missiles until they completely run out of missiles. Then, Iran won’t be able to defend itself. Keep going with the missile tests, Iran!

The U.S. should just drop a bunch of ACLU lawyers as well as a bunch of other “PC” lawyers on Iran. Iran would surrender quickly.

I like how the Pentagon says that what really happened is they tried to launch 8 yesterday but one wouldn't launch and it took them until today to get it to work.

Iran fired only one missile on second day: US
Iran appears to have fired only a single missile on Thursday, not a second round of missiles as suggested by Iranian media reports, a senior US defense official said.
The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told AFP the United States had detected the launch of seven missiles on Wednesday, including a Shahab-3 missile said to be capable of striking Israel.
"There appears to have been one missile fired today, but that may well have been one that failed the day before, and they finally got operational and launched today," the official said.
