Positive Post about Barr, and Ventura!
Political Lore ^ | Sept 5 2008 | Alexander Nobles

Jesse Ventura stated at Ron Paul’s Campaign for Liberty rally in St. Paul, Minnesota, that he would run for president in 2012 if he determined that the grassroots made significant political advances in the interim. It is doubtful he would run for the Libertarian party nod, given that his name alone is bigger than the entire Libertarian party. Ventura could run as an Independent, getting onto all 50 state ballots and possibly winning. This is something that I will be following personally. It looks like the grassroots is already starting to generate momentum for a run in 2012.

It’s been pointed out that Jesse Ventura is starting to resemble a deranged homeless dude.

Is Bob Barr rolling down a hill or something? That’s about the only way he’d be gaining “momentum”, especially after the Palin pick rescued a few disallusioned conservatives from his clutches.

If he ran and won, would he wear a red/white/blue boa?

Apparently, Ron Paul is making a “major announcement” tomorrow. Neil Cavuto was asking Ron Paul questions, and guessing at what the announcement might be. Cavuto asked Paul if Jesse Ventura was going to run for President this year, and Paul looked really strange (stranger than usual). I wonder if Ventura is going to announce tomorrow, and Barr, Baldwin, and Paul are going to endorse him.

I dislike Ventura and hate many of his political views, but I can respect anyone who takes on the two-party system in a major race and wins.

Jesse Ventura: I Will Move Out of the Country

Maybe you can room with Alec Baldwin, Jesse.

Guess he's growing that funky goatee to harvest for future hair plugs.

The only reason Ventura won in MN (I lived there at the time) is that the traditionally Democrat MN voters knew they’d couldn’t afford any more Democrat politicians, but couldn’t bring themselves to vote Republican.

Ventura won by a plurality, not a majority. He and the Republican candidate won something like 60% of the votes.

Which caused the head of the Democrat party in MN to comment that “We need to look at the way we are doing business.”

Now, there is a Republican governor in MN, Tim Pawlenty. He’s a pretty solid R, from what I understand.

I’m sure that recent clip of Ventura praising Che Guevera on the Colbert Report wouldn’t come up.
