Well between this and McCain’s appearance in South Dakota we definitely have the Hell’s Angels/Meth Producer vote!
(Now all you Harley riders out there, that was just a joke...)

The local (Philly) news failed to mention the rally other than the traffic guy saying there was a backup around Media.

For the sake of the Free Republic, we need pics of Governor Palin in the leather jacket NOW!!!!!!

"Sarah and I are going to get on that chopper and ride it right to Washington,'' he said.
Sarah can ride, right?

... as he rode onstage on a white chopper, a type of motorcycle, ... LOL,
Get the feeling this metrosexual "reporter" isn't real familiar with those "flyover country" folks and their "clung to" motorcycles?

Love to see the faces of the young women meeting Palin. Finally, a real political role model for Veep they can emulate. Gives me real hope for this country's future.

Just got in from the Media rally. I am still trying to filter what a great day it was. As soon as I get everyone settled in I will post some pictures, and give my take on the day.
It was fabulous! Crowds were reported to be over 25000.
Teutul introduced McCain after a few words. Palin was terrific as usual. Got some great shots of Piper, too.
My granddaughter had a close encounter with Todd Palin that I will relate later as well. All I can say is what a special man he is.
I am so psyched.

a white chopper, a type of motorcycleGreat. Now Wapo readers will know what a chopper is and can bring up the topic at cocktail parties without looking totally like, you know, stupid.

What a contrast between McCain in Sturgis and McCain with Paul Teutul
to Obama in his nerdy attire,
helmet on backwards, seat too low ,
heavy jeans , looking like a dorky girl while posing for the media on his bike.

Oh my Lord! This event must have already caused severe constipation in the New York scribes and talking heads, and by morning it will have crippled Washington.

Just got off the phone with Mom and Mark, who informed me that the Media courthouse is absolutely mobbed with enthusiastic McCain-Palin supporters. By Mark's estimate, there are thousands in attendance, overflowing from the main stage area and extending several blocks beyond State Street. I am hoping to watch via a local news outlet online and post a video later. From what I could hear in the background, people are incredibly pumped up and ready to deliver the state for Republicans in November. My brother noted that the last time he witnessed such a palpable electricity in the Media crowd was when Reagan visited during the 1984 campaign. Not even Dubya elicited the same level of passion in 2004. Let's hope this is a good omen and that PA swings back to red this year!

Hey everybody! Look at this (and somebody save it, please)...
Somebody was calling for a protest of the McCain-Palin appearance in Media, PA today. What makes this noteworthy, you ask?
It's on Barack Obama's campaign website under "events."
From that page:
Protest the McCain/Palin appearance in Media, PA (Organizing)
Anti-McCain Protest: Media, PA Stop The Lies! Hosted by: Greater Media Nether Providence PA Team Where: Delaware County Courthouse When: Monday, Sept 22nd, 3:00 pm

Being that I live mere minutes away from their shop and showroom, I can tell you that as impressive as the bikes seem as you watch on the TV screen, they are even more amazing in person!
The POW/MIA is a very good looking bike, Paul Sr and company did a great job on that bike! Goto http://www.orangecountychoppers.com/occ/onairtheme.html to view the POW/MIA bike if you have not seen it yet!
As a matter of a fact I even know where Mickey lives, as he takes from time to time the taxi service I work for. A few of our cars have even made it into episodes bringing him to work at their original shop!
