Just saw a clip where Pelosi, stated that the House GOP is being unpatriotic, basically for the House GOP for standing up for American taxpayers.
Hopefully the repubs are calling names and calling for investigations. I hear on the news that there is alot of yelling going on. Maybe our side has finally found a spine.
Sure sounds like they have found a spine and standing tall. As many have said, if this is so wonderful let the democrats pass it on their own. Something is going on and Pelosi needs cover. Hope our guys don’t give it to her.
Thanks for posting this. It needs the widest possible dissemination
“Thank God it is coming to a HEAD before the election and not after.”
Au contraire - I so fervently wish it had come AFTER - because of the lying, brainwashing MSM (and hence, hugely uninformed public/voters who believe them), this situation/
timing has given BHO a major (albeit undeserved) bump/advantage plus taken ANY focus away from foreign policy, national security, and an equally important, burning issue - the energy crisis with its associated Pelosi/Reid gridlock - all three areas in which McCain and other repubs were excelling head and shoulders above BHO and the other dems.
Note, for example, that Friday’s debate was supposed to be on Foreign Policy - yet practically the first third of it was about the bailout/economic crisis. Here, although McCain could’ve dished plenty back at BHO, he didn’t!!! And it made a major difference in the outcome of that debate (in polls as well as punditry), and not a good one.
That is a great improvement!!!
Correction: “Pelosi wouldn’t know patriotic because she is an ASS.”
They're all so predictable, they're boring.
Does anyone have the list of GOPers that is leading this charge?
I really don’t blame the ‘people’ for their misgivings etc, what bothers me is the lenders were forced/coerced etc to make the loans then are being vilified for doing it.
One of the clowns even said the other day that he thought it was time to make sure people qualified before lending them money....
The ONLY help I had on my house was my VA guaranteed loan (which I more than paid for earlier) and my wife’s having gainful employment (along with me).
I have been ‘broke’ for more portions of my life than I have been ‘rich’ (an entrepreneurial streak or two) and I had enough common sense not to fall for the ARM..talk about smoke and mirrors...guess the folks figured they would hit the lottery before the ‘piper’ was to be paid.
We as a whole let THEM get away with the Savings and Loan debacle, let the House bank scandal virtually go without reprecussions, let THEM raid pension funds and screw up the energy then sat here and let the banks and credit card companies rape us with ways to part us from our money that has the ‘mob’ thinking it was ‘nice’ to its clients by only breaking their legs....AND all this under the watchful eye of the Congress
Some of these clowns need to do some serious jail time, no country club prisons, hard time with the gen pop. Next time, if there is one, they may think twice before screwing the public....that includes the pols as well as the execs that ran these outfits...
Please tell me that the House Republicans will hold 100 press conferences, appear on every news/political show DEMANDING an apology. TIME TO GO NUCLEAR on this imbecile.
Wish in one hand and spit in the other and see which one fills up first.
Or was it, people in hell want ice water.
Either way, it will be a miracle if the Republicans do make this a big deal, and if they do, the MSM will never cover it./p>
For Do Nothing Nancy who spent 4 years trying to get us to surrender in Iraq to call anybody unpatriotic is laughable. Hey Airhead, you can pass it w/o the Repubs if your all that Patriotic.
Pray for W, McCuda and Our Troops
ugh! i forgot about la raza, too.
no wonder pence and boehner put a stop to this.
i think this is my last straw with bush
i can’t believe he would go ahead and sign such a flawed bill.
Same here.
This 2nd term by Bush has left me flabbergasted.
ACORN and La Raza getting money and Bush signs
astounding.
fed up with it but at least some republicans still have a backbone and some balls to not lie down for this
The Republicans ARE the patriots.
Maybe they don't have the numbers that they think. The Republicans need to get on the Tube and say, go ahead Democrats, pass it without us. Make them commit to their corruption, ACORN and all.
Then have President Bush change his mind and veto it.
