ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - Calling him the true reformer in the presidential contest, members of Reform Party USA endorsed Sen. John McCain for president on Saturday.

Party Chairman Frank MacKay said representatives from 27 states voted to endorse McCain, the Republican nominee and Arizona senator. None voted for Democratic nominee Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois.

"It's a good day for reform," MacKay told The Associated Press. "Whether (McCain) wins or loses, I believe we did the right thing and it gives independents the best chance out there to elect one of our own to the White House."

MacKay said the endorsement is a badge of honor for McCain.

MacKay, also head of New York's Independence Party, says the group considers Obama to be a traditional liberal Democrat.

History repeating itself.
Why has not George W. Bush torn into the Democrats?
Some have called for his impeachment some have called him a war criminal, some have said Bush lied, people died.
Why has not this Bush gone after those Democrats-starting with
Wilson and Palm?

“If your gonna ask personnel questions do it via mail.”

Sounds like you answered it....

“He elcted Bill Clinton, for starters. Nuff said.”

That’s silly... We had three candidates. Clinton, Bush and Preot. It’s no more accurate to say that Perot handed it to Clinton than it is to say Bush did.

If Bush had have bowed out, I’m sure Perot could have beaten Clinton. ...Unless you think Bush was entitled to it... We would have been much better off with Perot than Clinton. Perhaps better than with Bush Sr.

I didn't see this coming. Could this help?

It sure would if the party comprised over one tenth of one percent of voting adults.

Sure, Perot’s old party has endorsed McCain. But do we know what Ross Perot himself thinks?

Like this means something. Nader was the party’s candidate in 2004, after Buchanan in 2000. How can you go from Buchanan to Nader in four years?

It makes perfect sense to me. Perot formed the Reform Party to get Bill Clinton elected. Perot is only interested in helping Hillary to get to the White House in 2012. It’s just more of the same from the Democrats, more dishonest politics. The people on that side are unbelievably twisted. Once you start to understand how they operated, it makes perfect sense. Hillary is almost as bad as Obama, minus a few things, but she’s bad.

There is another faction of the Reform Party that nominated a Ted Weill, a former contributor to Lyndon Larouche, Lenora Fulani and Ralph Nader for President.

I don't think these guys matter any more than Socialist Brian Moore.

Or Charles Gray of the Boston Tea Party/Personal Choice Party.

Or Gene Amondson of the Prohibitionists.

Or Jack Grimes of the United Fascist Union.
