Mexican immigrants. They don’t like homosexuality, but they are otherwise liberals and a minority who voted for a minority for Prez.
Not surprising to me at all. The hispanic, black, and asian communities in CA are what passed prop 8, not whites. In fact I will bet the white vote rejected 8. The minority communities are very conservative when it comes to homosexuality, but otherwise leftist, and so 8 passed and Obama won. No conflict there at all.
Blacks and Latins are notoriously anti Gay, they pulled the Lever for the new pResident, and for a ban on gay marriage.
Well, it wasn't the conservatives. We all voted for McCain and prop 8. And the white libs all voted for Obama and against prop 8. Maybe all the minorities, who wanted Obama but still don't want gay marriage in the schools.
