Into The Great Unknown (what can happen-pray hard for our brave troops)
Black Five ^ | 11-5-08 | Wolf

**Support The Military

**Caring For The Wounded

**Remembering The Fallen

**Honoring The Sacrifices

.

.

.

These are the basic tenets of the site here at Blackfive.

They are what drew me to the site to begin with, and upholding them led me to enjoy my time here. These are the most basic of principles we hold dear, and to a man, believe in with all of our hearts.

We better, because I don't believe our President-elect has a freaking clue about any of them. Nor do those who will be working in complicit abrogation of all of these principles over the coming years.

I have made it my personal mission to continue to support these principles, and be ever more watchful because in my opinion, the upcoming administration certainly won't.

I believe we will see the following:

.

.

.

1. Immediate reduction of 4 brigades in Iraq. 2 will be pulled back to 'staging' in Kuwait, and likely the other 2 sent to Afghanistan.

On the Pakistan border.

2. Immediate cuts in bonuses and benefits for those that re-up.

3. Immediate cuts in recruitment funding.

4. Drastic cuts in defense spending on equipment. Bring what yas got, 'cause ya aint's gettin' no mo'.

5. Immediate reduction of senior enlisted and officer ranks. This will have two effects:

one, senior experienced leadership will drastically lack;

and two, those oxygen thieves that DO stick around will become the leaders. Gawd help us.

(Caveat: if the economy tanks WORSE, they'll stick around until it gets better. When and if it DOES improve, the exodus will be even WORSE).

I've been saying for quite some time that the treatment of our soldiers and sailors will take a turn for the worse.

Given what has happened, I fully expect this to occur. Spitting, harassment, intolerance and verbal abuse will reign.

I hate sounding so pessimistic. But the underlying currents of intolerance toward the military and anyone who regards service as a virtue is just too much to ignore.

Gentlemen of Blackfive, I believe we have an even more drastic mission...

Wolf

Don’t you mean staging in Okinawa?

For the first time in my life I am truly afraid for our men and women in uniform. They will not have a CinC that cares for them or believes in their mission. I can’t imagine what must be going through their minds this morning.

My son is deployed on the USS Baton right now and I haven’t been able to speak to him. My husband is freaking out regarding his safety. He has to serve 4 more years under this commie fraud. God bless our troops for their honor and courage and service to country.

Too many good soldiers retired or left the military in the Clinton years. (IMO - one of the reasons we did so poorly in Iraq after the initial invasion.) Military was rebuilt by patriotic Americans joining up after 9/11. Now I'm afraid we are going to see many people not willing to serve under BHO. Watch the recruiting numbers tank.

Yep, I want my son and my son-in-law out before the commander in creep takes over. I’ll probably need their help fighting off the civilian corps he plans to create.

he left out what I expect will be a rapid push by Barney Frank and others to bring gays into the spotlight

the US military will soon have overtly gay soldiers, then units that will be formed to transform our miitary into a more diverse organization

they will of course have special housing (base housing for couples) special bthrrom and shower accommodations in the barracks and field, special preferences for promotion to make up for the past, and special health facilities to deal with their veneral and other problems

but of course will not fettered from giving blood which others may be required to use not to hurt anyone’s feelings

Good people will start leaving the military. Good people will no longer volunteer for the military. And the enemies cheered.

Remember, Klinton didn't either. However, its much worse this time. The Trojan Horse is about to park in D.C. and unload.

My Col. brother is not happy today. That he had to put up with Clintoon was bad enough, but it seems Obama may be worse. God help us all. Pray for our Troops.

What irony that all those college aged kids dancing in the streets in D.C. last night will be in the military in about a year, when the draft is brought back. Unless they flee to Canada. Clueless idiots.

Might take longer than that to happen. Plus it will be a 'soft Draft' to give the Children-of-Privilege ample opportunity to opt for some other form of community service -- ie. Obama's civilian defense force (Red Guards).

The voters have spoken. In their infinite wisdom, they elected a guy who is the darling of Code Pink.

As such, they don't deserve the protection of the best and brightest America has to offer. To the men and women in uniform, come home. We'll need you.

Wonder if they'll want to change the name of the White House.
