That was most likely just campaign rhetoric, something to bash George Bush about. He will not do any more than send token reinforcements to Afghanistan, if that. Then he'll pull them all out at the first excuse. The Jihadies will have two additional countries to train, plan and scheme in, and attack us from. (Of course they may also lose one when Israel takes out Iran.)

Thank you very much, we are very proud of him. He is actually a Marine and can’t say much since he has a high security clearance. He has said in the past that they had
conservative views. I haven’t spoken to him since the election, but they were all for McCain. I was trying to fill him in on world news and the election, but they are so
busy that he doesn’t have time to focus on the real world.
I did tell him about the Dems plan to possibly take over our 401ks and he got so mad that he said that he would put his riffle down and refuse to fight. He was mad! He is actually further to the right than my husband and I.
When he calls again I will ask him what his shipmates feelings are. God bless all of your family that are serving.
