Say what you will about President George W. Bush, but I don't recall him ever mocking an elderly widow in his pronouncements. But Barack Obama couldn't get through his first press conference as president-elect without doing just that.
Answering a question from Lynn Sweet of the Chicago Sun-Times as to the presidents he has consulted during the transition, Obama took a gratuitous jab at Nancy Reagan, who was recently released from the hospital after breaking her pelvis in a fall.
BARACK OBAMA: In terms of speaking to former presidents, I've spoken to all of them that are living, obviously President Clinton--I didn't want to get into a Nancy Reagan thing about, you know, doing any séances.
He also apologized. I get the impression that Obama doesn’t like the elderly, even those he is/was related to.
When all of his lowbrow economic ideas fail, we’ll find that Nancy Reagan’s approach will in all probability yield better results than anything that idiot can come up with. Gads, if this was one of the best that Harvard can produce, we’re in a whole lotta trouble. He is such a simpleton.

The elderly and the infirmed have no place in ‘socialistic society’. They are considered ‘weak’. Just take a look at socialized medicine in the UK. When you go to an ER there, you report to a ‘nurse’....they put you on a list of ‘importance and status’ to whether or not you will be seen quickly. My elderly FIL stayed on a gurney for 8 hours in a hallway before he was seen. WooHoo. Thing to come, folks. Things to come.

For all the slickness this guy has been portrayed as having, I think we’ll see our fair share of this guy blowing it big-time by accident.
This was Obama’s way of flipping off the right. He couldn’t grasp Ron and he won’t be respectful to Nancy. Bush would never have done this. So change is in the air after all.
Obama will prove to be a classless jerk, just like Rahmalade.
