Just hours after President Bush and President-elect Obama met in the Oval Office of the White House, details of their confidential conversation began leaking out to the press, igniting anger from the president, sources claim.
"Senator Obama would be wise to keep close counsel," a top Bush source warned.
"BUSH AND OBAMA AT ODDS OVER AID FOR AUTO INDUSTRY," splashed the NEW YORK TIMES in an exclusive Monday evening, quoting "people familiar with the discussion."
The two met at the White House in private, without staff.
"Bush indicated at the meeting that he might support some aid and a broader economic stimulus package if Obama and congressional Democrats dropped their opposition to a free-trade agreement with Colombia," claimed the TIMES.

The ASSOCIATED PRESS quickly followed with details of the conversation, citing "aides who described the discussion on grounds of anonymity, citing the private nature of the meeting."
Bush advisers view the leaks as an effort to undermine the president's remaining days in office.
"Senator Obama may not be familiar with a long-standing tradition of presidents holding their private conversations, private," a senior adviser explained to the DRUDGE REPORT.

From the day he's inaugurated there will be stories every day in the MSM about the daily life of Michelle and the kids. There will be heartwarming pictures every day of Michelle and the kids. There will be family pictures of all the 0s doing whatever it is they do on a daily basis. They will be featured on every imaginable talk show on every network and cable station.
We will be saturated with the Obamas the same way North Korea is saturated with the Dear Leader.
The leaks included a proposed deal with the Dems regarding Bush's limited support for some economic aid package in return for Obama's support for Bush's Columbian initiative.
If this leak is true, Bush will be on his way to Crawford when the Obamminations suddenly drop the horse's head on Columbia.
The President will never learn. He hears more New Tones than Ma Bell. He never knows his back has been stabbed till he sees his favorite easy chair turn red.

Yeah, just like Bill Clinton and the democrat senators and congresscritters were not familiar with the longstanding tradition of not criticizing a sitting president in a foreign country.

I hope they freeze him out of all “confidential” matters. We need a Statesman-type” Republican to start right now in his campaign for 2012. A few visits to Israel and other nations would help this nation to give a preview of 2012.

I stopped getting fleeced by the American auto industry in 1977. I haven’t bought an American car since then, 2 Honda’s, 2 BMW’s and 1 VW are in my driveway.
Bush proabaly assumed details of the conversation might leak. Anyway, the meeting served a purpose: we learned something about Obama.
