I’m already tired of hearing about Obama and his Obamacorns.

I like Rush’s take on this...

Did Obama offer Hillary Secretary of State because he knows that Bill won’t pass the vetting process and the Clintons will look bad?

my thoughts... good way to get rid of Hill & Bill and still look good. LOL

It's worth reminding people that at this point in 2000, Bill Clinton was still refusing to release transition funds to George Bush to start putting together his administration.

Bush didn't get the funds until mid-December, and then had to rush to form his administration.

Then, eight months later, while Democrats in the Senate were still blocking his appointments for his second- and third-tier deputies,, 9/11 happened.

Maybe Hillary is thinking that 69 isn't too old to run for President--she'll be younger in 2016 than McCain is now--and 4 years as Sec. of State could set her up nicely for the 2016 primaries. Meanwhile, Bill can make so much money from foreign governments while she is Sec. of State that they'll be billionaires in 4 years.

I'm saying 4 years because it's rare for any Sec. of State to serve longer than that...I think only James Madison, John Quincy Adams, and Cordell Hull have served 8 years (Hull even longer than that). Hillary would use Obama's second term gearing up for 2016...assuming he hasn't gotten rid of the 22nd amendment by then.
