No "girly" dog for the Obamas
Barbara Walters interviewed the Obamas, due to air tonight, and of course the topics of doggies came up. She, along with millions of Americans, actually sent Michelle Obama a picture of her beloved Havanese dog, Cha Cha Cha. (We're not kidding.)
Here's the back and forth between Obama and Bawbwa:
Obama: "Cha Cha?"
Bawbwa: "It's short for Cha Cha Cha."
O: "What is a Havanese?"
B: "It's like a little terrier and they're non-allergenic and they're the sweetest dogs.."
O: [Face suddenly changes.] "It's like a little yappy dog?"
Michelle: "Don't criticize."
O: "It, like, sits in your lap and things?"
M: "It's a cute dog."
O: "It sounds kinda like a girly dog."
M: "We're girls. We have a houseful of girls."
O [with hand gestures]: "We're going to have a big rambunctious dog, of some sort."
....
O: "We're getting more advice about this [what kind of dog to get] than my economic policies. No doubt about it."
The dog should be less castrated than it’s potential owner IMO.
...thye play soccer...
snicker
First his supporters help Prop 8 pass and now this.
Tsk tsk.
Just call her...MomChelle....BO needs a mama...
.....he's not using his anymore.....
It sounds to me like he needs a father. Just like, Billy Jeff Clinton, I suspect there's some, um... issues there.
So, this kid spends a lot of his youth in Kansas yet knows nothing about dogs. Sounds like a muslim to me.
Seriously, the media is playing along with this charade. They all know there will be no dogs anywhere near this family as they don’t celebrate Christmas.
There will be no dog in the White House. Dogs are considered unclean in Islam. Except for the saluki, which Islam does not consider to be a dog, because Muhammad liked salukis.
So if the Obamas bring a saluki into the White House, the drive-bys will write it up as a cute human interest story about The One’s family, without thinking about what it says about The One.
Making decisions all by your lonesome is a pretty daunting job, ain't it Barry? No doubt you'll have to assemble yet another "blue ribbon" panel of experts. You can set the "vision" and they can tell you what to do.
Awwwww - what a sweetheart - puppies and babies - always hard acts to follow.
I will pray for the dog and the breed. Seriously. I sincerely hope that they understand the impact it will have and will act with sense. I know, it’s alot to ask.
Someone need a Dogg?
I know it's creepy, but I'm starting to like this guy. Real dogs weigh 50+ lbs and slobber lots.
This dog would likely do something to O’s leg.

Headed up by Michael Vick no doubt.
