How convenient. Intellectual bankruptcy. These idiots really have no damned idea what they are doing. This is the crap coming out of academia when far too much money is being sent their way.

This idiocy is destroying science and turning it into nothing more than a political agenda. They have lost all credibility.

Researchers at the University of Birmingham found that 630 million years ago the earth had a warm atmosphere full of carbon dioxide but was completely covered with ice.
Hey, it's almost as if A) continental or global glaciation doesn't happen because of slow-moving variations in climate and B) as if the glaciation and the rise of CO2 level had as their only connection a *common cause*. Thanks neverdem.

In new research it has been conclusively shown that researchers at the University of Birmingham are stupider than potato's.

If only science could harness the energy generated by AGW propagandists sucking and blowing at the same time we could abandon 82.3% of all coal-fired power plants.

You could look it up!

All mostly on speculation, NOT SCIENCE

Not really. It was based on research, by DuPont.

The research was in how to increase income.

The R-12/R-22 to R-134a (IIRC) was a switch to a cheaper and less powerful coolant.

However, you were charged more for it, and were forced to destroy any of the old type, and buy new stuff.

So, yes, it makes the compressor work harder, in order to achieve the same cooling ability.

How about they know exactly what they are saying and doing. They are setting up the rationale for the state (socialist)takeover of economy of the world. The rationale for mass genocide will be that we are all relegated carbon footprints and therefore as expendable as garbage.

1) correlation doesn’t equal causation

2) post hoc ergo propter hoc is another fallacy (the fact that one even follows after another does not mean the 1st event caused the 2nd)

Not sure. But with all those dinosaurs they had to have been big.

I know, and that's what freaks me. Imagine Barney cruising around in a Cadillac Escalade. No wonder I always hated Barney....

therefore umbrellas cause thunder storms

Are you sure its not puddles? There are almost always puddles associated with thunderstorms. Rainy thunderstorms, anyhow.

They know we’ve figured out it has been cooling since 1998 so need this new scenario to keep their scam going.

630 million years ago was the precambrian period before there were very many organisms of any significant size. Also there were no significant land plants either to absorb CO2 and emit O2. Do we know the status of phytoplanctin in the seas? The conditions were so totally different that it is hard to even comprehend how the factors would have interacted. Furthermore, somewhere back in the precambrian there were apparently 3 major boloid events. Does anyone know if there was one postulated for around that time.

Maybe Newsweek can run their “The Coming Ice Age” cover again.

The thing is, if ya live long enough, ya get to see the same scam come round the bend again. Here in Iowa, they are spooling up the agitprop big time. There’s a “Commitee on climate change or some goddam thing, nobody voted for them, and the state dept. of resources is pushing it too. None of it is funded by Iowans I’d wager, at least not by consent.

The weather has been politicized, and nothing good can come of it.
