Octo-mom Nadya Suleman Goes Shopping for Video Games (New Nintendo Wii System)

Is this how she's spending her octo-donations?

Octuplet mom Nadya Suleman was spotted Wednesday in California shopping for video games and was captured on film checking out the Nintendo Wii and its accessories. The Wii retails for about $250. The controllers she was eye cost about $40. If she buys one for all 14 kids, that will addup to about $560.

(See the image here.)

And how might she pay for such a purchase?

Suleman recently launched a colorful heart-covered website soliciting donations for herself and her gigantic brood.

The Internet web site, thenadyasulemanfamily.com, is decorated with a baby bottle, pacifer and a rainbow - and a giant "donate" button.

"We thank you for the love and good wishes sent to us from around the world," the site reads in bright purple letters resembling a child's handwriting.

"They are all healthy and growing stronger by the day" Suleman, 33, deemed a "proud mother of 14" on the site, gave birth on Jan. 26 despite $50,000 in debt and no job.

Visitors to her new website, therefore, can directly donate with a credit card.

The octo-mom insisted in an interview with NBC that she didn't choose to have the eight children by in vitro fertilization - on top of her six other kids - to get handouts.

"I'm not receiving help from the government. I'm not trying to expect anything from anybody. I just wanted to do it on my own," she said, adding that any assistance she's getting is "temporary."

The Los Angeles Times, however, is reporting that Suleman gets $490 a month in food stamps and another $600 in disability payments for three of her older children who suffer from ADHD, a speech impediment and autism.

The San Francisco Social Security Administration also told the paper that a single parent like Suleman with disabled kids could qualify for up to $2,900 a month in state and federal help.

Octomommie isn’t the problem here, its obvious she’s absolutely insane.

The problem is Octomommies crackpot Doctor, folks, and the medical community that isn’t speaking out in total outrage, the medical board that isn’t taking his license to practice medicine from him.

Thats where the problem is. A total disconnect with ethics, and professional responsibility.

And some wonder why Conservatives are so troubled by genetic research.....

What does she need Wii for? Shouldn’t she use that money for food, diapers and other baby supplies?

Rescue those babies and take them out of her control, at least until she has had complete psychiatric evaluation.

The Media is making me sick on this!

Well only 4 will work at a time, but I get the gist of the article.

Taxpayers footing the bill for superfluous things she may not otherwise afford.

If anything, I’d send money to her poor parents, who were forced into bankruptcy supporting this idiot. I give them credit. Her six-year old said in an interview she’s not happy about the eight babies.

Three children with learning disabilities, which would more than occupy any mother’s time, and this witch thinks 8 more babies will make it better.

I’m thinking the donations aren’t exactly pouring in, now that all the facts about her have come to light. Oh, and the State of California and its taxpayers will pay the more than $1,000,000 freight for the hospital stay of these tiny darlings. (Yes, I separate the innocents from that jerk of a mother).

What the hell does that mean? Is it "eying" or "eyeing"? What the hell is wrong with "reporters", "journalists" and "editors" these daze? I get a headache everyday trying to decipher their crap.

I agree.

If government can dictate what businesses that take TARP money can and cannot do, I believe that it should tell the litter bearer what she can and cannot do, such as purchase entertainment consoles.

For a welfare recipient, a Wii is the ratio equivalent of a Hawker 400XP.

How dare she!

All welfare moms in the room, raise your hands if there is a Wii in your household...

“If anything, I’d send money to her poor parents,”

her parents are enablers, I’m sure, if more of the story came out. What is most important at this point is for the babies not to be taken home by this woman. If she keeps acting up in the way that she is she WILL NOT be allowed to take them home.

They are so small and vulnerable and there are so many parents that could give them a healthy happy home. She can not take care of them no matter how much money is donated to her.

Only 4 wii-mote would work along with an addition of 4 Gamecube contoller for a total of 8 controllers. However, there is no game currently out that allows the use of 8 controllers.

What octomom really need is a saudi-prince sugahdaddy to support all those kids.

Why get a Wii? Get a PS3 instead, I have both, much prefer the PS3.

That’s a dumb comment - no game system supports 14 simultaneous users.

It never ceases to amaze and disgust me how people like this are transformed into celebrities.

Next thing you know she'll be a judge on "American Idol" and subsequently come out with her own line of clothing.
