A federal judge on Thursday threw out a lawsuit questioning President Barack Obama's citizenship, lambasting the case as a waste of the court's time and suggesting the plaintiff's attorney may have to compensate the president's lawyer. In an argument popular on the Internet and taken seriously practically nowhere else, Obama's critics argue he is ineligible to be president because he is not a "natural-born citizen" as the Constitution requires. In response last summer, Obama's campaign posted his Hawaiian birth certificate on its Web site. But the lawsuit argues it is a fake and that Obama was actually born in his father's homeland of Kenya, even though Hawaiian officials have said the document is authentic. "This case, if it were allowed to proceed, would deserve mention in one of those books that seek to prove that the law is foolish or that America has too many lawyers with not enough to do," U.S. District Judge James Robertson said in his written opinion. The lawsuit didn't even use Obama's legal name but called him "Barry Soetoro," the name he went by while attending elementary school in Indonesia. It's one of many that has been filed claiming Obama is ineligible to serve as president. Robertson ordered plaintiff's attorney John Hemenway of Colorado Springs, Colo., to show why he hasn't violated court rules barring frivolous and harassing cases and shouldn't have to pay Obama's attorney, Bob Bauer, for his time arguing that the case should be thrown out.

The link you provided that stated by your own words was "your opinion" completely contradicts the argument you are now making.
And now you're attempting to change the direction of your argument.
Of course they do.
OK, go back to reply 56, read the title of the link and then click on it. Then look at my reply 57. Now do you get it?
Read the above sentence again. One or more of their parents were foreign born which made them ineligible to run for President even though THEY were born on American soil. Their parents birthplace made them ineligible without tis clause :No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States at the time of the adoption of this Constitution,
You said in 77 they didn’t. Interesting.
Yes, I know. Now where is the definition of natural born citizen?
I've heard both here and on DU that "No one has proved that he's spent a dime on this". I keep pointing out, over and over, at every available opportunity, that these lawsuits aren't just dismissed because the judge looked at them and realized they were without merit. THEY WERE DEFENDED AGAINST BY REAL ATTORNEYS WHO DO NOT WORK FOR FREE.
In the case of the article above, Zero's attorney was even mentioned by name, and it was suggested that the fees may have to be reimbursed by the plaintiff. If there is no issue with the COLB, WHY does he keep defending himself against the suits????
I'm no conspiracy nut, by any means, but NO ONE has answered this question, and the media sure isn't interested. In a country with a real media, I wouldn't have to ask this question into the ether over and over and over again. I'd already know.
Get it?
Golly gee whiz, now you're all pissed off at me. What ever shall I do now?
I'm not pissed off, I just said you don't know what the **** you're talking or posting about.
Gotta guilty conscience?
Have a good evening.
I knew he was a Bill Klingtong apointee as soon as I read what he said. Thanx for confirming it.
He knows that the Founders wrote themselves a clause so that they could run for President. Their meaning is clear. It’s also clear that Obama isn’t eligible.
Today, children, we're going to learn a new concept. It's called "pro-bono." Can you say pro-bono?
Now if only they had put in a definition.
Because he has to. When someone sues you, you generally have to respond. Even if the lawsuit is frivolous, as in this case.
They made their meaning clear. You just don’t want to accept it.
My goodness, someone is dense.
They wrote themselves a grandfather clause because they themselves were not born in the United States. They couldn't have been because the United States did not exist at the time of their birth.
Duh.
Where did they do this?
