Washington was born in Virginia in 1732. John Adams was born in Massachusetts in 1735 Jefferson was born in Virginia in 1743 Madison born in Virginia in 1751 Monroe born in Virginia in 1758.

So how exactly could those births have been deemed to take place in the United States, given that the polity going by that name did not even come into existence until 1776?

Because they were not foreign born. They had loyalty to this soil and not England. Their loyalty was not divided. You should stick to economics.

This information has been posted many times on the BC threads. The founding Fathers made these rules for those that followed them, in time.

They never wanted 'government' to go this far. In fact, the patriots prevented what is happening now, from happening, then.

Look around on the threads a bit more, if you are curious.

Wait.... polity?

I am officially too tired. Nite.
