No it doesn't matter where Jindal was born he is NOT NATURAL BORN because neither of his parents were US citizens, and as mush as I like him he cannot be President.
What if Vladimir Putin and his wife came to the US and while visiting Ms. Putin had a baby,
by this logiic that child would be "natural born" and could be POTUS.
PREPOSTEROUS LOGIC
There are many ways to claim citizenship.
However, all can be divided into two categories:
Born in the United States
OR
Processed after birth, through Naturalization or adoption or other legal process.
Jindal was a United States Citizen from the moment of birth.
That is the very definition of “Natural Born Citizen”.
No Constitutional authority, that you can name, thinks otherwise. Jindal is FULLY qualified to be President.
That's one you don't have to worry about. Babies born here whose parents are foreign diplomats aren't considered citizens of the US. I'm not a lawyer, but my understanding is that foreign diplomats are not "under the jurisdiction of the US" and therefore do not confer citizenship.
