The Obamas, Barack and Michelle both, pretty much diplomatically botched the recent visit of British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and his wife. Oddly enough, the U.S. Old Media seems uninterested in the story that is a hot topic in England, a story that's left many Brits a bit miffed.
“We’ve always been at war with Oceania.”
Too funny!!
I have yet to hear Obama talk like he represents the entire country. It was notable during his talk to the Dems at their retreat that he talked about himself as representing Democrats. His spokesmen talk about Obama’s critics as enemies. His AG defined the U.S. as a nation of cowards. He trashes the productive citizens of the country. He seems to see the country and its citizens as broken-down vehicles and himself as Mr. Goodwrench, entirely outside the vehicle. His psychological detachment is fascinating.
US major media actively collude to protect him, as they did to elect him.
:He isn’t stupid, he is a prick. He did it on purpose.”
I concluded the same thing.
I would think that the experienced folks at State would have been involved. They evidently let The Obamas embarrass themselves.
Who’s the boss over at State, anyway? ;-)
Well, “State” seems to run their own little fiefdom... :-)
Goldie Hawn?
Hell I'd like that over a hoity toity pen. what wouldve been funny if he sent a MR Bean box set, THe patriot or some other movie that paints england badly hopely one that ties in slavery lol
Or if the first President Bush had made a comment about grocery store scanners that made him look bad, the press would have kept quiet. They would have let it pass -- and those times President Ford tripped - not a word mocking him. /s
Slighted? Slighted? Obama slapped them in the face then pissed on 'em...
Thanks for the post. Great information. Mandatory reading.
Too bad we can’t get the Obamanistas to read it.
There is enough filthy language on this posts as of late and insulting the Lord is not acceptable, so you get a grip!
Good. Our media already wastes too much time on issues that don’t matter. (demonizing conservatives as it goes, of course)
Britain isn’t going to spurn us because our idiot of a president had a gaffe during a diplomatic meeting. We’re in an economic free-fall. That should be front and center. Stuff like this is third page, small-font business.
Still, we all know that if this was Bush it would be all over the news. The media picked on trivial gaffes he made for 8 years. The double standard is sickening.

Michelle’s mad at the Brits over slavery? Makes no sense.
Doesn’t she know about William Wilberforce? And how Britain outlawed slavery and allowed fugitive slaves to settle in Canada?
Where has she been living, under a rock somewhere?
The Gift of Gaffe.
The next time Brown comes, he could present a framed copy (same wood) of the Bamster’s birth certificate. This shouldn’t be too much of a problem for MI5. They even have a show on PBS (LOL).
Churchill had nasty things to say about Islam.
BINGO!!!!!!!!
a set of dvds is something you would buy your grandma for christmas....she’s a big fan of bette davis and joan crawford so get her the boxed set...
it is hard to believe that this wasn’t deliberate because it is too stupid to be anything else.
