Just as I have always said. . . by the time it is over he will become the source of 'great compromise,' and the other dems will look political.

Well the Examiner got more out of the Obama speech than I did. To me it sounded like the ramblings of a fool.

How does one hope to accomplish debt reduction while proposing a budget with a 2.3TR red line?

Yes. I was thinking I need to make it a point to watch Saturday Night LIve this week to see what they do with his underwhelming, back-pedaling performance.

Just like in his campaign, he goes on and on and says very little. And the idiots lap it up.

Many of us tried to warn of his Socialist ideas, leanings, and associates...
we were called idiots.
Many of us said he won’t protect our rights, he’ll take them away...
we were called morons.
Many of us claimed he would bankrupt our Country...
we were called fear mongers.
Many of us cringed at his lack of executive experience...
we were called racists.
many of us voted against him...
we were called losers.

When what we said turns out to be true, what will you call yourselves?
If you’re lucky, Canadians. Otherwise, Chinese, Russians, or Venezuelans.

For Democrats and Republicans, I say this; This is what we get for letting the MSM choose our candidates for us.

Easy. Just increase the money supply so that inflation goes to about 10,000% and pay off 5% loans with worthless money.

Anyone have a Luo-Italian dictionary handy? I'm wondering how you say il Duce in Luo.

Some of Mussolini's ideas sounded good (and impressed the New Dealers) but didn't work in practice, but he did make the trains run on time. Maybe Obama can promise to make the airlines get flights to their destination on time with no delays.

"the ramblings of a fool"

I think this will be the tagline for Obama's entire Presidency.

... several more constituency groups royally screwed.

Royally screwed only happens to us. When we lose an issue, they take something away. Tax money right out of our wallets. Property rights gone. Gun bans. Business regulated out of business.

Marxist issues don't work like that. They aren't fighting to protect what they've got, they're fighting to take more of what they don't. If Hussein fails at carbon caps and nationalized health care this time, they don't lose a thing. They have everything they did yesterday and tomorrow is a new day to try for more again.

Actually, he is only “compromising” on his campaign rhetoric.

His socialist agenda is firmly in tact!
