recently near where I live there was a dinosaur fossil discovery, I noticed the strata it was found in, and the type of SOIL surrounding the fossils, found in place (i.e. not distributed by natural processes).

There is no way that the matrix surrounding the fossils was millions of years old, as it was top-soil, with still visible organic matter just a few feet from the fossils (they ware about 4 foot down, exposed as in a wash).

The way science works is that until you have overwhelming evidence (not just her and there), the coventional theory is still king.

The evidence however, is piling up. It’s easier to explain young earth and massive, punctuated sudden changes in the environment to produce the fossil beds than millions of years of slow change. Each side needs creative explanations for some observations, but they are far less outlandish on the relatively young earth side.

Frankly, do you REALLY believe tissue is viable after 80 MILLION YEARS?

If so, please name the “right conditions” I can use to preserve any flesh for 80 million years. Imagine the egyptian mummies after 1 million.....DUST.

Explain to me how this piece of animal tissue is evidence of a young Earth.

Over the last 2,000,000 years we’ve had 20 major glaciations. They definitely moved some real estate around. At the same time, when they went into their final meltdown it happened pretty fast. So, yeah, lots of jumbling up and so on but you gotta’ buy into the 2 million year thing first. Otherwise there’s not time enough for the last 20 ice ages. Can’t freeze and melt that much ice that fast.
